Who We Are
We are two full-season camps offering dozens of activities for campers. These include team sports, individual sports, outdoor adventure programs, overnight camping, arts and crafts, boating, swimming, musical theater and music and more.

Our counselors come from all over the world, and many enjoy working here so much, they return to camp to work as counselors again. Many have attended Camps Baco and Che-Na-Wah themselves. We are located in the Adirondacks Mountains in upstate New York. We are a four-hour drive from Boston, four hours to New York City and two hours to Montreal. Our nearest airport is Albany, New York, which is about 90 minutes away.

Your Job
You have two roles at camp, as a bunk counselor and activities counselor. You will be one of at least two other bunk counselors, responsible for camper’s well being and for instilling in them the camp values that are so special here. In addition to your role in the bunk, you will teach an activity in which you have an interest and experience. This can include coaching sports, leading hikes, teaching waterskiing or swim instruction and more.
