Letter Home from Che-Na-Wah
Dear Mom and Dad,
After so many months, we finally arrived at Camp Che-Na-Wah. It’s so great to be back at our second home. Summer 2011 is going to be the best yet! The first hours were spent unpacking and being introduced to all the new campers and staff. On the 2nd day of camp, we all had our first activities of the summer. Many campers were able to jump into Lake Balfour and take their deep-water test. I passed! Evening activity was camper introduction. Bunks 22 and 23 got to show the camp their upper senior/waitress march downs and t-shirts. On the third day of camp, there was lots of sun. Don’t worry I put sunscreen on! For evening activity everyone was split up. For example, Bunks 2-6 were taught Penn/Cornell (Color War) songs by Bunk 22! Overall, camp so far has been so much fun! I can’t wait for the next couple of days; hopefully I’ll have ski and tennis! I’ll write you soon, I promise!
XOXO
Miss you!
-Camper
