From CNW Bunk 22
The past couple of days have been very eventful for Camp Che-Na-Wah. Saturday was the 4th of July, so we had our annual talent show. Some highlights were Julia R and Chloe F singing “Love Song”, Bunk 22’s mashup, the Waiters dancing to a live version of “Uptown Funk”, and Jane H singing “Beautiful”.
On Sunday, we had Spirit Day, which was led by Bunk 22. We also had our annual Che-Na-Wah mile, which was especially exciting since it was also a color run. In the morning, all the bunks showed their camp spirit by dressing in different costumes which were assigned by bunk 22. The best dressed award went to bunk 18, who were dressed as Greek Goddesses, and the most spirited bunk was bunk 17, who were dressed as grandparents!
In the afternoon, we had the color run. The camp dressed in all white, and ran the Che-Na-Wah mile. At certain checkpoints, blue and gold powder paint was thrown. By the end everyone was covered in camp colors!
It was so much fun to do activities with the whole camp.
We have had a very exciting weekend and are looking forward to having another amazing week at camp!
