Dear Baco Family,

Well, now that we’ve all been home for about two months, I think we can all agree on some things…

Every summer at camp is “the best summer ever” and we always come home so happy about all of the awesome stuff we did at camp with all of our friends, counselors, and Baco family.  But every few years….certain summers stick out as truly “the best summer” ever.  And I believe that the summer of 2014 was one of those summers.  I mean, how often does a Milk & Cookies song take over the last few days of camp, as if it was our summer anthem all season long?  When was the last time we had a summer that featured 3 world class Rubix Cube Artists dominate the Baco Social Hall stage, in record timing?  And who can forget the Clean Ups this year!  Best Golden Broom sweeps of all time!!!  I’d like to honor Mr. Physiculous for being at the top of his game this year, helping to truly make 2014 one of those special, Sickest Summers Ever.  But most of all, I’d like to honor all of the campers and counselors who made the Baco magic shine brighter than ever.

Now, as we settle in back at home, school, or work…let’s try to focus on looking towards Summer 2015.  Get those Newsgrams in, send in Bunk Reunion photos, and let’s make the time go by as quickly as possible!  Start thinking about all the hilarious and awesome stuff to look forward to this coming summer…. I look forward to sharing with you some new and improved programs and scheduling ideas, as we get psyched for playing on the fields and courts, on the lake and on the land, in the A&C shack, on the stage, on the mountains, nature walking with the F.L.A.B. naturals, and most of all sharing experiences with our bunkmates and best friends in the world.

Thank you ALL for the greatest summer in the history of Baco, and welcome to all of the new Baco campers!!!!  We can’t wait to have you join us for what promises to be an even greater summer, in 2015.
