Bazaar
On Saturday July 28th, both camps, staff, alumni, and even camp families partook in The Baco/Che-Na-Wah Foundations annual Bazaar. The Bazaar raises money for multiple charitable organizations such as the American Heart Association and the Juvenile Diabetes Research Foundation. Senior Staff, and 4 chair people – 2 waiters and 2 waitresses, organize the Bazaar each year. The chair people set up booths, collect donations, and help prepare before the event. This year’s Bazaar chair people were Chloe F., Nikki E., Maxx E., and Brad W.
To raise money for these charities, every Baco and CNW bunk is assigned a booth that they run themselves all day. Some of the booths include tic tac throw, shave the balloon, and others sell food. There is also a merchandise booth, and the very popular, 7 over 7 under.
At the end of the day, there is a pie eating contest, three-point shoot out, and a live auction.
With the continued support of the campers, staff, alumni, and families, the Baco/Che-Na-Wah Bazaar foundation is able to raise enough money to support over 60 charities each year.

Senior Show
This past Saturday and Sunday night was the Senior Show. This show includes CNW girls going into 9th and 10th grade, and Baco Boys going into 8th 9th and 10th grade. The show’s theme this year was 70s music. It featured songs like “I Will Survive”, “Joy to the World”, and “Play the Funky Music”. Senior show is the last show of the camp season, but everyone looks forward to it all summer long. The cast member have been rehearsing for this show since the first week of camp, and have spent many hours putting together what both camps say was an amazing production.
Some highlights include the duet song “Enough is Enough” sung by Becket M. and Hannah R from bunk 22, the all cast number “ABC/I Want you Back” mash up, and the surprise staff song “American Pie”. Director Michael S., Assistant Director Danny R., and Musical Directors Julian B., and Peter N. all put in a lot of time and effort to make the show possible and a success.
