Senior Trip to Quebec
Campers from both Baco and Che-Na-Wah went on a 3 day trip to Quebec city. They were all so excited about the trip, both groups decided to tell you about their favorite parts!
CHE-NA-WAH
This year, Bunk 22 and the Waitresses went to Quebec City for senior trip for two nights and three days. It was awesome! We left on Thursday morning around 7:30AM. We arrived in Quebec at noon and had an opportunity to shop and eat lunch. Then, we all went to the hotel to settle in and get ready for dinner.
Dinner was at a Sugar Shack. It was authentic Quebec food and music. There was a man playing the violin and some of us got to go up and play the wooden spoons and dance. There was maple syrup on the table, which people ate with bread and butter, and even on some potatoes and sausages. After dinner they demonstrated how to make the sap from a tree into maple syrup, and we got to go to a little museum of all the animals from that area. They also gave us toffee to eat on a stick, which was delicious!
After such a fun evening we went back to the hotel, where we were able to hang out for a little before going to bed early for early wakeup on Friday.
Friday we woke up at 6AM for a 6:30 breakfast so we could start our day at the ropes course! After everyone got through all of the levels on the ropes course, we got back on the bus and headed to the mall to walk around. The day was so much fun, and all of sudden it was time to get ready for dinner again. We went to a French Restaurant in town for dinner that evening. Dinner was delicious, and after that, we went to watch a really cool Cirque du Soleil outdoors. It was a lot of fun, and was a great way to end the day.
The last day, Saturday, we started off by going on a trip to see a beautiful waterfall. After, we went to the old city for lunch and then started to head back to camp.
Everyone had an amazing time and couldn’t have asked for more. Senior trip 2012 to Quebec City was definitely a blast!

Hey now viewers of the Camp Baco blog. This is Ethan and Jack coming to you with another edition to our blog.
Today, we are going to tell you about “Senior Trip”.
The Senior Trip is a 3-day, 2 night trip that alternates its location each year. The bunks that are able to go on the trip are bunk 22, 23, and 24.
Once we arrived in Quebec, we were able to walk around the history rich old Quebec city. Bringing our signature Baco Boy charm and intellect, we left last impressions everywhere we went.
We ate at the Sugar Shack, saw Cirque du Soleil, and went to a great ropes course. We had an excellent time, however, it is good to be back in the greatest place on earth… Camp Baco.
