Music and Fun!

Hello one again viewers of the Camp Baco Blog.

We decided to talk to some of the campers and find out what their favorite songs and activities are.

Adam L. from Bunk 22 says that his favorite activity is softball and that his favorite song is “I want you back”.

David C. from Bunk 23 says that his favorite activity is softball leagues.  David’s favorite song is “The farmers daughter”.

Reid W., a camper in Bunk 4 says that his favorite activity is hockey, and that his favorite song is “Party Rockin”.

Harrison E., a counselor in Bunk 16 says that his favorite activity is Pioneering/Hiking, and his favorite song is Ruth Wortmans rendition of Ba Shana.

The connection between songs and activities in camp is huge.  For over 20 years, the Baco Basketball teams warm up for their activities with songs by the Jackson 5.  This brings excitement and adrenaline to the games, helping the teams give it their all.

During clean up, the counselors play music to make clean up more fun and exciting for everyone.

The songs range in variety from country, to rock, to hip-hop.
