Army Navy Day

Hello once again, viewers of the Camp Baco blog.  This is Ethan and Jack coming to you with a summary for Army Navy Day 2K12.  Army Navy day has been a Baco tradition since the camp first began in 1951.  Army Navy day is a day of friendly competition among the whole camp.  The camp is divided into 2 teams – Army & Navy.  Throughout the whole day, campers play friendly but competitive sports.  To top off the amazing sports, a sing is held where campers from each team recite an alma mater, a fight song, and a cheer.

At the end of the sing, a winner of Army Navy day is announced.  The scores for each team include the games won and lost, sportsmanship, decorum, letters written, cleanliness of the bunks, and the winner of the sing.

It doesn’t matter who wins, because in the end the Baco team wins.

This is Ethan and Jack with another edition of the Camp Baco Blog.  Stay classy.
