LEGO BACO

As Greg and I visited with some of you this winter,  we realized how many of you enjoy Legos.  We saw a lot of amazing stuff, and were really impressed.  Some of our parents told us that they have so many legos at home and that they would be happy – even grateful – to send some of their Legos up to camp in their son’s trunk.

So … for all of you who have containers, boxes, or even trunks of over stocked Legos that you have collected over the years…you are hereby invited to bring them up to camp this summer.  Think of it as a communal Lego collection that bunks and age groups can share together…perhaps for a rainy day, or even for some sort of Lego building tournament!  The possibilities are endless.  Of course, if you would prefer not to bring your Legos because you like keeping them for an “off-season” home activity, or if you don’t have any Legos, that’s fine too!

Thanks to all of our parents who came up with this great idea.

P.S.  Here’s what Greg has to say about Legos: “I admit it…I am a Lego Maniac.  When I was a kid growing up, I would play Legos for hours on end…constantly creating, building, and rebuilding using my own imagination.  I remember long nights with my brother Danny, as we would construct entire Lego cities.  And now, even as a grown-up, whenever I see Legos, I always have the desire to work together with people to build something new.”
