The Adventures of Sarah and Jaclyn – Part I

Hello there folks!  Writing to you from the swim dock, its Sarah and Jaclyn the head swim counselors.  We have been having a fabulous summer on the shores of Lake Balfour.  Despite some rainy days, we have been working on our strokes and learning a bit about water safety.  Last Saturday, the Waterfront Staff conducted the opening ceremonies for the First Annual Che-Na-Wah Waterfront Olympics.  Each bunk was allotted a new nationality for the summer, and will compete with each other in swim and BCS relays, as well as their excellence in ski.  The coveted prize you might ask?  Not only the title of the Queens of Lake Balfour, but an ice cream party as well.  We’ll keep you updated as the scores come in from our International Judges.

In other news, the latest craze to come over the Front Stage of Camp Che-Na-Wah is ZUMBA!  The mix of Latin aerobic dances has been keeping our lovely ladies active and fit.  Now all you mothers out there will have a new bonding activity to do with your daughters!

It was nice chatting with you, but we’ve got to run to Wednesday night barbeque dinner!  A-B-C-D, D is for donuts!
