Tennis Takeover

Bruno, head of Baco tennis had a busy day today!  Baco sent 14 players from the intermediate and senior division to play in a brand new tennis event, the Brant Lake Tennis cup.  Baco did not defeat Brant to win the inaugural tournament, but Baco won 5 matches.

Also, some of the best 9, 10, 14 and 15 year olds were sent to a USTA tournament at Queensbury.  Baco had really tough competition, but 3 players are going back on Wednesday for the semi finals.  Everyone at Baco wishes them luck in the Final Four of the 10’s division.

If some players didn’t travel to Brant Lake or Queensbury, they might have played against multiple camps at the Baco Invitational.  Noah R was successful in the Invitational reaching the semis, but Michael M and Matthew S emerged as champions.  Michael and Matthew won the 16’s doubles title and are the only champions so far.  They hopefully will continue their success and win their last Baco basketball tournament at Echo Lake tomorrow.
