Leagues on Fire

Unlike the weather, leagues were on hot today.  Two of the leagues that caught my attention were intermediate soccer leagues, and Kauser house basketball leagues.  In soccer leagues, one of the games ended in a 5-5 tie after great playing by Jake G., Adam R., and Jared W.  In the other game, one goal would be enough for Max G. team to win.

In basketball leagues, two of the games were pretty good games, but the game on the big court was exceptional.  The two teams were lead by Jonathan C., and Ben D.  Greg Silver coached his team, but fell in the last second by 3 points.  Luke W’s late arc throws sealed the deal.  Baco was amazed by Jon C’s legendary performance in his team’s loss.  Jon scored 32 points, had 18 rebounds, and 3 rebounds and assists.

Other very important things were happening at camp today.  Returning campers got to remember Tyler Seaman, who the Baco family lost earlier this year.  His parents unveiled a plaque in the brand new gazebo during freeplay this afternoon.

In other news, counselor Marc Robbins cracked Bob/Greg’s system for calling up bunks.  The way he did it is “secret”
