CNW Trip to Saratoga

On July 7, Bunks 12 and 14 had a very fun and special day with our very own Ruth Wortman in Saratoga.  We started off our day in the National Museum of Dance.  Our tour guide Patrice showed us many things.  Our favorite exhibit was the Michael Jackson Hall Of Fame where saw his costume from the music video “Thriller”.  We then went to see professional teenagers practice ballet, which was very interesting.

After that, we went to the Saratoga Performing Arts Center, “SPAC”.  We saw 3 wonderful different Ballets.  The first dance was called “Square Dance”, the 2nd was “The Magic Flute” and the 3rd was “Stars and Stripes”.  Our favorite ballet was “The Magic Flute”.  It was beautiful the way the dancers acted out the plot without dialogue.  This was our favorite because the costumes were amazing, some of the characters were humorous, and the way they acted it out was understandable.

We had such a great time in Saratoga, and would love to go again!

Love,

Bunks 12 and 14
